MEET THE TEAM AT DIXON LAW SOLICITORS

Colin, who heads Dixon Law Solicitors, is an experienced commercial property lawyer and expert recognised by the Legal 500. Colin trained at the prestigious London firm Freshfields and after gaining experience in investment acquisitions and sales he moved North to join Addleshaw Goddard in 1995.

Following five years post qualification experience Colin joined CMS Cameron McKenna as a partner to establish and head up their property practice in Budapest, Hungary. Within 2 years the acclaimed European Legal 500 recognised Colin as being a leader in commercial property and the CMS property group as the No1 practice, with a large portfolio of European Clients (including a number of leading UK Clients such as Tesco, Dixons and UCI Cinemas).

After several years in Hungary, Colin returned to the UK and continued to work in private practice in Leeds, developing a new Client base which enabled him to establish Dixon Law.

Colin is now a recognised leading lawyer in the healthcare sector giving advice to GP’s and developers in respect of new primary care centres, and had given seminars on the subject for 'Pulse' magazine.

Colin is married with 3 children and he is a keen amateur golfer, cook and cyclist.

Jolene is a paralegal in the residential team handling all aspects of conveyancing. She is currently studying for her ILEX qualification whereupon successful completion she will qualify as a Legal Executive.

Jolene is a keen footballer and passionate supporter of her local team, Huddersfield Town. Her other interests include food & drink and travelling.

Kelly Fleming is a commercial property lawyer and joined DixonLaw in January 2010. Kelly trained in London and moved to Leeds after qualifying in 2005. Kelly joined Lupton Fawcett and gained a wide range of experience in landlord & tenant work in the retail and business sectors. Kelly also has experience in acquiring and disposing of properties for investors, developers and licensed properties. Kelly also has experience in secured lending and has acted for many of the main financial institutions.

In her spare time Kelly enjoys going to the gym, walking and watching films.

Margaret is the Practice Manager and Senior Accounts manager for the firm and has a wealth of experience in such matters. Margaret is a member of the Institute of Legal Finance & Management.

In her spare time Margaret enjoys walking and cycling and is a member of the Soroptimist International of Harrogate.

Graduating in 2008 with a 2:1 LLB (Hons) from Leeds Metropolitan University, Parminder has subsequently worked as a paralegal, specialising in conveyancing, and acting on behalf of a variety of major lending institutions.

In her spare time Parminder enjoys basketball and fundraising for charity.

Justine is a Certified Paralegal (M. Inst. Pa) and part of the Conveyancing team, with vast experience in dealing with time pressured investment transactions. Justine acts for a number of leading property investment clubs and mortgage brokers.

Justine enjoys snow boarding, walking and spending time with her family. Justine is originally from London but now lives in Leeds.
